initial game report

A lot better than the demo had us believe. It's got it's problems with server data collection and conecting to EAganes accounts (nobody could connect for ages, and then only Winters and I managed it for ONE game. The issue is known and will be fixed according to a news ticker on the interface)

Graphics are AMAZING and also game types....
Playing the 'rush' game type makes you capture 2 bases and blow them up and then a whole new section of the map opens up where you advance and capture 2 more bases, that happens a last time wit the 3rd part opening up and you win by blowing up the last 2 bombs. I love that game mode, very real life IMHO and loads of tatical play (make sure you have squads).

Adding friends is not all that easy at it could have been, but we'll get there in a fashion.

Single player is graphically brilliant and best fun I have had to SP in a while.

WHEN the connection issues and server data is fixed, I think it might be good fun.

one last thing... It's still very difficult to kill the enemy. Spraying in a whole clip doesn't work, you have to aim for the head to stand a chance in 121 face offs.

my impressions so far are pretty positive, the little gameplay razz and i had last night was quite good fun, riding around two's up on a bike and trying to fix our tank before realising neither of us had unlocked repair option yet, brought back some good times we've all had exploring and general fook assing around as a clan.......

I'm loving this game runs like a top on my box (When I could actually log on that is) But People remember its a BF game always a interesting bug fest in the begging.. I say buy it.. just had a rip roaring game !!! 38-16 and 3200 points !!!!

secret to scoring is in the objectives, disarm or arming and capture flags etc score big points !!
once you get ya head round aiming for kills it starts to become easier, stick at it chaps its worth it once you lose ya virginity

I guess im going to have to give it another go. I tried sp the other day and turned it off after 15 minutes lol. I got tired of all the playing for 2 minutes then watching a scene for 5. Maybe it gets better after that. MP i could never connect to a game so i obviously got bored of that. From the sound of it i may have given up too early so i guess i will try again.

ok, heres my deal so far,

played first couple days no probs,

Saturday evening started getting "lost connection errors" and EA login failures, went to bed after giving up on 2hrs of trying,

Sunday morning could join any server but got booted from every one i joined with PB INIT failures, did all the updates etc etc etc, pb says im all updated but i still get kicked, did a little googling to find out that players were updated but all servers needed rebooting to catch up with new versions
Sunday afternoon, managed to start joining servers without the pb failure but now get lost connection when i know my connection is fine !! and now im also getting ctd's with no warning at all, it crashes only when refreshing server list.

if EA are soo big and successful would you not expect them to have this sorted before they release it ?
EA gave it all the big charlie potato that they gonna be so big and successful over IW with MW2 and the failure of IWNet and all they have done is make themselves look complete and utter fools !! at least IWNet was stable upon release.

was really hoping that BC2 was gonna get me away from the hell of IWNet but instead its drawn me back to MW2
, at least now i can get a good few hours of gameplay in.

don't get me wrong saino, the game is awesome !! and tactical game play can be a clan winner, imo its more of a game than mw2, just ea login and there server browser sucks ass !

eagerly waiting patches so i can get back in there !

Insaino any games i've been able to get into have been brilliant, and i hated the original BF games, once they sort out the server browser and login it will be a winner.
Graphics are the best i've seen on any game, storm into a nice clean city or town in the rush gametype and by the time the games finished the whole place is ruins and rubble.
Pissing about in tanks and quads is a blast, and we need a good chopper pilot (not Razzle).
You can add friends like IWNET and just click on their name to join them ingame.

I hope they fix it soon.

k. sounds coolio. I go out today to purchase. I look forward to busting it up with my clanmates. Squading up will be cool.

I look forward to being dropped off at the edge of the map and also being left in the dust to run 20 miles to flag.

Soon an extravaganza will ensue. I had to get new vid card and hard drive. I am now running optimally and so is my genitalia.

Anti-tank was always fun wasn't it? I think we laughed about it more then we shot our anti-tank weapons especially at start of map when we dashed to the forward positions.
